Demolition Supervisor Learning Course
12 WEEK DISTANCE LEARNING COURSE
About the Course
The Demolition Supervisor Distance Learning course has been developed and introduced by the National Demolition Training Group (NDTG), in conjunction with the National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC), and Construction Skills, as a means by which existing holders of a Topman Certificate of Competence of Demolition Operative can obtain a Demolition Supervisor Certificate of Competence.
The Demolition Supervisor category fills a training gap recognised by and promoted by the NFDC, NDTG and Construction Skills, and is intended for those people in site supervisory capacity on demolition projects.
Course Participants
- Any Demolition Operative Topman who is at present working in the industry in a supervisory capacity.
- Any Demolition Operative Topman who aspires to advance his or her position within the supervision of demolition projects.

Asbestos Level 2 NVQ
The Construction Awards Alliance will accept the above qualification as from March 2009.
C.S.C.S. will recognise this standard and endorse the card scheme.
NDTG, UKATA, ARCA, ACAD and Construction Skills are in the final stages of developing the evidence requirements to satisfy National Occupational Standards.
It is envisaged a pilot course will be up and running by April 2009.
